For those who did not make last night's meeting... For the first time in quite a while.. we failed to make a quorum last night. Lets hope that was an anomaly. Otherwise we discussed a few projects that are in the works. or that have recently yaken place.. 1. Free Throw. Great turnout by both participants and Knights. The event was a lot of fun. We had 56 contestants and everything ran pretty smoothly. Thank you all for your cooperation in making this a very successful event. 2. Communion Breakfast. We have secured Msgr James Vlaun as our speaker. He is the President and CEO of Telecare. I think this is an outstanding development and can make this communion breakfast one of our best efforrts yet. We will begin advertising early as to capitalize on this. 3. Essay Contest. In union with the Communion Breakfast, the essay contest will work with a lenten theme this year. The winner will be recognized at the Communion Breakfast. $. Vocations. This year we are planning a Cocktail Hour as a fundraiser for our vocations program. I particularly like Ed Lambert's theme.. "Libations for Vocations". It is planned for March 6th in the council meeting room. If you would like to help with this event let Ed know. There are other irons in the fire. Phil Paoli is working with the veterans, and other events are in the planning stages. If you want to help with any of the programs or have one of your own you would like us to consider... come on down ... join the fun and new found excitement that is St. Agnes Council. We are making a difference. We are.... The Cathedral Council
